Love & Light

I have often wondered how glorious it must've been to rededicate Solomon's Temple after so much war and destruction. Also, because our bodies themselves are a temple, I've also wondered if such a dedication is also metaphoric for how we, too, can rededicate our own lives after seemingly destroying them. Of course we can - all it takes is a decision! No amount of flesh is stronger than Spirit. So, Happy Hanukkah to all my Jewish friends tonight at sundown. May the following eight days spread Love & Light throughout the world. And, Happy Hanukkah to all my non-Jewish friends who may think their lives are beyond rededication - if you woke up today and are breathing, your light is far from being extinguished, and your life is far from being over.

Shalom!
